Custom Counsel and Advisory Services for Board Chairs

KirtleyWood LLC provides counsel and advisory services for board chairs and committee leaders who are new to their positions. With our guidance, they gain the knowledge they need to accelerate their impact.

Engagement will be a 12-month assignment of quarterly meetings to advise future board leaders as they prepare for their committee and board meetings and follow up after the meetings. Our corporate consultants will provide insights and company-specific counsel based on the identified needs of the committee/board and company.

The initial introduction is intended to be in-person when practical and possible. Other meetings are expected to be virtual.

You Can Learn How To:

Prepare for the content of a committee meeting, including the agenda and expected outcomes and actions.
Coordinate and communicate with the company representative, board chair, and other committee leaders as needed.
Bring data (and courage) to certain topics critical to success.
Bring all directors into the discussion on key topics.
Plan for the executive session.
Create goals for the year based on board/company needs
Create a calendar for the year to meet all requirements
